{RECIPE} Chia Pudding

I had noticed chia puddings popping up on instagram and on some of the blogs I follow so I had to give it a go.

I had already been adding the super food, chia seeds to my smoothies so thought I would add some more into my diet with a chia pudding.

There are many benefits of chia seeds as shared here on the Huffington Post stating that there is evidence of chia’s positive health effects include boosting energy, stabilizing blood sugar, aiding digestion, and lowering cholesterol.


Chia Pudding

Ingredients

chia seeds

milk

strawberries

goji berries

Directions

Add chia seeds to a bowl, jar or cup and pour milk over them. Mix with a spoon and put in the fridge to soak in overnight.

Check them after approx 15 minutes and give them a stir – add more milk if necessary and put back in the fridge.

When you get it out in the morning top with Strawberries and goji berries and enjoy.

Serves 1.


This is perfect as an alternate breakfast option or great as a healthy dessert. You can also mix this up with different fruits to change it up.
